The question we've all been asking

Seriously.

I hope everyone has a wonderful and safe track out! See you in 2016!

It's not track out yet...

So we are working hard and loving learning!

Math problems around the room:

Earning enough PROWL tickets to eat lunch with the teacher!

MCLASS reading assessments:

Identifying the central message:

Aaaaand crafting!

Festive!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

I love watching these reindeer pull Santa's  sleigh...

I'm so proud of these super stars for performing an awesome December to Remember show!!!

Check out these artifacts!

Students brought objects from the past to share with the class. The presentations were amazing and I loved hearing about all the special artifacts!

Congrats to our Spelling Bee winners! We are so proud of you.

BFF

Your BOOK is your BEST FRIEND!
A book can give you a great story, stretch your brain, and help you answer questions and spell words! We should always keep our books close and reference them when answering questions.

A picture is worth a thousand words!

We studied some photographs to add to our turkey schema!

We also wrote an opinion paper (with an opening, 3 reasons, and a closing) on whether or not the turkey should be spared on Thanksgiving... Ask your child what his/her opinion was!

I hope everyone has enjoyed this break! This weather has been BEAUTIFUL!

We like to move it, move it!

Let the motion begin! We are experimenting with Twirly birds and Rollers. Ask your child what he/she learned about motion! (Besides it being SUPER fun!)

Esli wishes everyone a happy Thanksgiving! I am thankful for my family, friends, and Vance family!!!
