Meet the Experts...

These first graders chose a research topic to become an expert on... And WOW... did they do an awesome job!!! After weeks of research, students shared their research projects with the class. While students were presenting, the class  watched and listened and the filled out compliments on hands. These hands symbolized a high give, or a pat on the back... Which everyone definitely deserved! Great job guys!

The good thing about fire drills is...

Pajama Day!

Buddy reading in our pajamas?!?? Yes, please!!! What a fun way to end our week. I'm so proud of this class for earning 50 class compliments! (We're quickly working our way to another class compliment celebration!) This class is on a roll! 

Because I'm happy...

It feels so good to be back with my first graders. They keep me laughing and smiling all day long. I can't believe we only have 3 weeks left together. I am beaming with pride at the leaders they have become...
